Arrived
Safe-arrival notification app. Your trusted contacts get a quiet notification when you arrive or leave a place — so no one has to remember to send the "I got home safe" text.
What it is
Arrived automatically notifies your trusted contacts when you arrive at or depart from a saved place. No check-ins, no manual texts, no live tracking. Just a quiet notification at the moment that matters.
It solves one specific, universal problem: you forget to text your partner that you got home safe. Arrived does it for you.
Why I built it
The "I got home safe" text is a small thing that carries a lot of weight. People forget to send it, partners worry, and the usual solution is live location sharing — which is surveillance, not reassurance. Arrived threads that needle: your contacts know you arrived, but they never see where you are in real time.
How it works
You save your places (Home and Work preloaded, add custom spots). You invite trusted contacts — they accept a request and choose which notifications they want from you. Then you go about your day.
Arrived runs in the background using expo-location geofencing. When you enter or exit a place's perimeter, it fires a push notification to your contacts: "Sebastian arrived home." For one-off situations, create a temporary event with an address — it expires automatically, no cleanup needed.
Going Dark mode pauses all notifications instantly. No explanation sent to contacts.
